Galleryy is proud to showcase renowned outdoor and Florence trained artist, Natasha Bogar, and her Golden Birch Series - a more than a year-long pursuit of capturing the essence of a single Golden Birch tree through the rugged Vermont seasons.
We are offering a limited-edition print containing all six original paintings in this series, as well as the final three oringals.
From the artist:
" I noticed this tree one winter evening at sunset. I loved how the rugged alpine environment shaped this golden birch, the gnarled branches growing in high winds and heavy snow loads. This tree did not have to grow very tall because it has an open grassy area with full sun, allowing its branches to stretch out wide. Most trees have to compete for light and grow tall. Its shape made it perfect to fit in a square format painting. I had been looking for a tree to paint that would fit nicely into a square for this series."
